A short list,not a catalogue
Short Carry is a small online shop for men’s bags. We do not make them — we look through a lot of them and put up the few we would actually carry.
Most bag shops give you nine hundred options and no opinion. You end up at midnight comparing two listings that are almost the same, picking whichever has more reviews, and hoping.
We would rather do that part for you. The range here is nine bags. A sling, two hip packs, a crossbody, a messenger, three backpacks and a wallet. If two bags do the same job, only the better one goes on the site.
What we will not do is invent a story. We are not going to tell you about a family tannery or a workshop we visit twice a year. We are a shop. We choose well, we price it fairly, we ship it tracked, and if you do not like it you send it back.
How we choose
Four things a bag has to get right before it goes on the site.
Shape
It has to look like something a grown man carries to work. That rules out most of what is on the market before we get anywhere near the price — the logos, the tactical webbing, the shiny hardware.
One job
Every bag here does something the others do not. A sling is not a smaller backpack, and a travel pack is not a bigger messenger. If a new bag overlaps with one we already stock, we keep the better of the two rather than listing both.
Price
We would rather sell you a $95 crossbody that does the job than talk you into a $400 one that does the same thing with a name on it. Nothing here is pretending to be a luxury house.

Measurements, materials and what is actually in the box are listed on each product page. If something is not listed, ask us and we will find out and tell you — including when the answer is not the one you were hoping for.
What to
expect
We ship within 48 hours and orders arrive in 5–7 business days. We ship to the United States and Canada only for now, and every order is tracked. Full details are on the shipping page.
If it arrives and it is not right, you have 30 days from delivery to return it. Email us first and we will send the return instructions.
We are a new shop, which means we have no wall of reviews to point at. What we can offer instead is a clear returns policy and an email address that a person actually reads.
